Morning:

• 5:00 AM – Departure from Kolkata:
  Start your day with an early pick-up from your designated pick-up point in Kolkata (options available across various locations such as Esplanade, Howrah, and Sealdah). You will be transported in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to the Ferry Ghat at Namkhana (about a 3-4 hour drive depending on traffic conditions).
• 8:30 AM – Arrival at Namkhana Ferry Ghat:
  Once you reach Namkhana, you will board a ferry to Sagar Island. The ferry ride typically lasts around 45 minutes to an hour, offering beautiful views of the river and sea as you approach Sagar Island.

Late Morning:

• 9:30 AM – Arrival at Sagar Island:
  Upon arrival at Sagar Island, our team will escort you to the Kapil Muni Temple. This temple holds immense spiritual importance, as it is believed that Sage Kapil Muni meditated here. Pilgrims visit the temple to offer prayers, perform rituals, and take a dip in the holy waters.
  Holy Dip: At the temple, you can take a holy dip in the confluence of the Ganges and the Bay of Bengal, known as Gangasagar, which is said to cleanse one's soul.
• 10:30 AM – Temple Visit & Local Exploration:
  After offering prayers and rituals, take time to explore the surroundings of the temple. The tranquil beaches and the lush green surroundings create a peaceful environment perfect for reflection and relaxation. You can also visit local shops selling religious souvenirs and local handicrafts.

Afternoon:

• 1:00 PM – Lunch:
  Enjoy a sumptuous Bengali lunch at a local restaurant or one of the many food stalls on the island. Meals typically include traditional Bengali dishes like rice and fish curry, cholar dal, and beguni (fried eggplant), giving you a true taste of the local cuisine.
